Who we are

The F&B Project Ltd is a hospitality consultancy and recruitment business, registered in England and Wales (company number 15479433). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We're the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. It explains what we collect through this website and when we work with clients and candidates, how we use it, and what your rights are.

What we collect

Through the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), the service you're interested in and your message.
From clients: contact details and information about the roles you want us to fill.
From candidates: where we're in touch about a senior role, contact details and career information such as work history, salary expectations and notice period. This may come from you, from your public professional profile or from people in our network.
When this site loads, your IP address is sent to Google, which supplies the fonts the site uses.

How we use it, and why

To reply to your enquiry and take the next steps you've asked for. We do this because it's needed to answer your request, and in our legitimate interests in running our business.
To search for, screen and put forward candidates for senior roles, and to help clients select them. We do this in our legitimate interests, and those of clients and candidates, in matching people to roles.
To keep records and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We don't send marketing emails or texts unless you've asked for them. If that changes, we'll ask for your consent separately, and you'll be able to opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run this site and handle enquiries. Wix hosts the website, handles the enquiry form, stores enquiry and contact records, and sends us email alerts. Google supplies the fonts this site uses. Where it's part of a search, we may share a candidate's details with the client who has asked us to fill the role. We don't sell personal information.

Some providers may handle information outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as it's needed for the purpose we collected it for, including any follow-up, and to meet our legal obligations. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. Our hosting provider may use essential technical cookies or similar technology to keep the site secure and working.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. You can also ask us to restrict how we use it, object to how we use it and, in some cases, ask for it in a portable format. To do any of this, email mike@thefbp.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
